Proposal to Improvement Productivity of Business Processes
Ungvári, Jakub ; Řihák, Pavel (referee) ; Juřica, Pavel (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the proposal to increase the productivity of business processes. For selected processes, it analyzes the current state using the Six Sigma method. Time measurement will be made for individual processes and it identifies bottlenecks. In addition, proposals will be presented in order to improve the current state.
Offer process optimization
Koryciński, Martin ; Teš, Vasilij (referee) ; Fiala, Alois (advisor)
This master’s thesis concerns optimization of quotation process. It describes mapping of value stream by VSM Method (value stream mapping) in practical way in order to minimize cost. Further on it describes three points of view method when surveying and modifying process. It analyses process on three levels and describes suitable solution which makes process smoother and more effective. At the conclusion of this diploma project belongs evaluation of realised solutions and measures that need to be taken in future.
The Study of the Operating Production Management
Mayerbergová, Ilona ; Ing. Jaromír Černý, Ph.D (referee) ; Jurová, Marie (advisor)
The goal of this diploma thesis is to use the principles of lean manufacturing to lean workplace and eliminate all forms of waste in this workplace. A part of this work is opti-mal design of the workplace in terms of ergonomics which should have a positive effect on shortening lead time and process cycle efficiency. Shortening the lead time will allow company to respond more quickly to customer requirements and this effect may subsequently lead to the drop in inventories.
The Suggestion of Optimal Supply Process for New Orders
Adamík, Vít ; Sedláček, Petr (referee) ; Jurová, Marie (advisor)
The topic of diploma thesis was implemented in selected mechanical engineering company producing precision parts in small series. The main aim of the thesis is to create the suggestion of optimal supply process for new orders. The first part of thesis describes the company, area of its business and the processes of the order. In second part, the production analysis is carried out: production order path, production analysis for two reference parts, comparison of all time delay over two last years, find bottlenecks in the supply process. Base on analysis, theoretical approaches was described. In the last chapter there are suggestions for improvement of supply processes and thus shortening of production time of new orders.
Value stream analysis
Perutka, Michal ; Doňarová, Jana (referee) ; Fiala, Alois (advisor)
The aim of the diploma thesis “Value stream mapping” is to analyse the montage workplace of the company IFE-CR, a.s. with focus on the value stream and the methods of lean production. The thesis aims to identify priorities for applying lean production methods at the montage workplace and to propose concrete measures in order to reduce different types of wasting. The first part of the thesis is dealing with the theory, understanding the main principles and methods of lean production, as well as with the method of value stream mapping. The second part is dealing with value stream analysis of the montage workplace and proposes concrete measures to reduce wasting and to increase the production effectiveness, respectively to improve the material stream trough implementation of selected lean production methods in the montage workplace.
Bottleneck Elimination in the Production of Electrical Devices
Horníková, Daniela ; Ratičák, Milan (referee) ; Bartošek, Vladimír (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with eliminating of bottlenecks in a production of eletrical devices, focusing mainly on the production line. It analyzes the current situation and using value stream mapping for a selected product it identifies bottlenecks of the production process. Further it proposes remedial measures to improve current situation.
OPTIMALIZATION OF LOGISTIC FLOWS IN THE ENTERPRISE
Dvořáček, Radim ; Linda, Bohdan (advisor)
The dissertation is concerned about, according to author still “live” problem of optimization of logistic flow, with scope to company environment. The aim is to find correct methodology for defined problem and to apply it to particular case study. Theoretical part begins with description and analysis of actual state of problematic of logistic flow optimization and listing the methods which are able to be applied to these problems. The three main groups – exact methods, heuristic methods and combined methods take part in. The analysis continues further with searching the methods, useful for application in production company environment. Vast focus is on layout design task, because once layout is created, except some minor changes, it lasts usually for some years and therefore it is necessary to consider it properly. Moreover, there is also difference between other characteristics of production, as production planning and machines / technologies upgrade and layout; the former are in a certain manner changeable and not stable, but the layout cannot be changed on for ex. weekly basis. Contribution to research is located at the end of theoretical part, which is newly modified methodology to be more suitable for practical application. Practical part begins with the description of particular case study, e.g. actual status of logistic system in enterprise. The processes described include purchasing management, production management and mainly layout design of production space. The application of suitable methods consists of group technology methods – already known method, plus newly modified method and their mutual comparison. In addition is included already known value stream mapping method. The result is recommendation for change in layout design, developed by integration of results, brought by group technology methods and value stream mapping method.
Project Proposal to Streamline a Production Process
Neckařová, Ivana ; Veselý, Josef (referee) ; Juřica, Pavel (advisor)
The master thesis concerns a project to streamline the production process by designing an assembly line to produce glass doors. The aim of the project is to increase the productivity due to the increasing demand of customers for products. The production process is analysed by mapping the value stream and finding a suitable solution using industrial engineering and lean manufacturing methods. In order to ensure successful project implementation project management tools and methods are used. The project also includes economic evaluation of the investment.
Value stream optimisation
Zátopek, Jakub ; Šandera, Josef (referee) ; Novotný, Radovan (advisor)
This master's thesis is dealing value stream optimisation of finished goods in company Continental Automotive Systems, s. r. o. between production lines and expedition in terms of lean production methods and industrial engineering. The first part deals with theoretical training methodologies and understanding of lean manufacturing and industrial engineering. The second part analyzes the value stream of finished goods between production lines and expeditinon, identifying bottlenecks and design improvements.
